There is one big difference from at this site, besides happy cartoon guy and it's a big ol' bonus.
Sign Up Bonus
Many online casinos offer you a $50 sign-up bonus for a minimum deposit of $20 to $50. Generally, if you go for it, your doom is sealed - because the fine print obligates you to gamble it all on the slots. And forbids you to withdraw any money - including your own - until you've wagered anywhere from ten to twenty times your casino credits (the bonus PLUS your deposit). Which means odds are you're going to lose everything, unless you're Mr. Luckypants.
At First Web Casino, you're offered a HUGE $125 bonus if you deposit $50 - or $75 if you deposit $25. It's as if the devil realized he wasn't going to get you into hell by offering just a free massage, so he threw in a pedicure too. Even if you go for the smaller sign-up bonus - if you use an alternative payment method, such as Firepay or NETeller, you get 10% of your initial deposit up to $25 - you STILL get obligated to gamble a substantial amount on the slots. These are not bonuses, friends. These are contractual obligations to force you to gamble heavily before you see any return. Or at least be able to withdraw it.
Casino Software
First Web Casino features, as all Jackpot Factory affiliates do, the Microgaming software, which you can either play in the downloadable program that takes over your entire screen, or play instantly in the Flash Casino that appears in your browser window. They've also got Microgaming's latest VIPER software, showcased in such new games as the TOMB RAIDER slot machine. Graphics are better than their usual garish clown-like slot illustrations and spinning is much more fun to watch, if that really excites you. I did pretty well on this site at blackjack, not as well at video poker or the slots, but the winning/losing ratio seemed to correspond with my experience on other online gambling sites. Be careful - when you first enter a game, the initial bet will probably be set at the highest level - not necessarily what you're willing to wager.

If you try the live chat help option on the site, chances are you'll stare at it for several minutes waiting in vain for live support to answer you. If you call the toll-free number, the phone will ring a number of times and a helpful Israeli with a moderate accent will eventually answer. Yes, their support staff is in Israel, but the Jackpot Factory online casinos are located in Canada and licensed under the Kahnawake Indian tribe's jurisdiction. Jackpot Factory's online casinos tend to have larger sign-up bonuses with slightly less obligation than others, more promotions and progressive jackpots and better-designed home pages. In other words, no matter where in the world they are, this is a factory that works.
First Stop for Gambling Fun
First Web Casino, with its huge (and legally obligating!) sign-up bonus, is a good first online gambling stop if you just want to gamble 'till it hurts. If you'd like to hang onto your initial investment and maybe even take out some winnings (what a concept!), bypass the bonuses and bet carefully. This is a fun site, as far as online casinos go, but it's never any fun to lose money.
