And all of these casino games can be played for real money if you're lucky enough to reside anywhere other than the U.S. of A. Casino Elegance accepts the usual array of paying options from around the world and claims to accept ALL currencies.
Casino Elegance - Playing for Fun
Except, of course, if you live in the States. In that case, just try to sign up to play these casino games for real money and you'll receive a polite error message will inform you that you are prohibited from playing real money casino games, and inviting you to continue playing for fun. There are a lot of options, to be sure, and it definitely beats spending hours playing desktop solitaire. But for those who come to gamble, nothing is quite as much fun as playing for cold, hard cash. Which makes Casino Elegance a lot less fun than other gambling sites that, while they may be less comprehensive, actually allow Americans to play!
Casino Elegance - Customer Service and Other Minor Issues
Casino Elegance claims to be safe, secure and regulated, and appears to be so to this prohibited, restricted American visitor. Customer service, however, could be better. There is no phone number posted, no live, online help available, so the only option to combat confusion is to refer to a list of FAQ's and if that doesn't work, email a question. Response time is slow - 24 hours later, I still had not received a response to a simple question. Still, I didn't find much that was overly confusing about Casino Elegance - possibly because I never got an opportunity to gamble there - so this was not an enormous problem. I did have trouble figuring out how to exit from a casino game once I got bored with playing for fun. There is no exit button displayed anywhere, but I tried the Escape key, which worked just fine.
Casino Elegance - Your Best Bet?
Okay, so this review has a slightly negative tone. But that's mostly because Casino Elegance looked like so much fun, not being allowed to play for real money was a big disappointment - kind of like being the only virgin at an orgy. If you're a Yank whose idea of online gaming fun includes real money wagering, I would look for a party where you're actually on the guest list. But for those who don't call George W. Bush president (and no, Blue Staters, that doesn't mean you), there appears to be a lot of big time casino gaming excitement waiting behind Casino Elegance's velvet rope. Check it out. I would...if they'd let me.
